Veteran operations executive Beth Howen has been appointed as the new president of Plano-based NTT DATA’s state and local government and education (SLED) business in North America.
The company said Howen brings extensive experience as a results-driven digital and operations executive.
“We’re delighted to welcome Beth to the NTT DATA leadership team,” NTT DATA North America COO Tanvir Khan said in a statement. “Her proven expertise and forward-thinking approach will be key as we help SLED clients modernize and deliver secure, citizen-focused digital services nationwide.”

Howen’s career spans leadership roles at Capgemini, Telus International, Atos, and the City of Indianapolis, where she led transformative initiatives across strategic planning, process optimization, and technology integration, the company said

Nowen has successfully led large-scale transformation projects and secured major deals with numerous state and local government agencies, NTT DATA said. Howen’s expertise in public sector innovation and her commitment to strategic partnerships will be instrumental as she leads the company’s SLED team with a renewed focus on education and multi-state initiatives, NTT added.
