Volleyball World partners with IRIS Sport Media for Central/South America and the Caribbean

IRIS Sport Media, the UK-headquartered sports advisory firm, has been appointed by Volleyball World to be their exclusive media distribution agency for Central and South America (excluding Brazil) and the Caribbean in a long-term deal.
The four-year agreement, which covers all media and digital output for both men’s and women’s competitions, includes the World Championships (2025-2027); Volleyball Nations League (VNL) (2025-2028); Club World Championships (2025-2028), Beach World Championships (2025-2027); and the Beach Pro Tour (Elite 16) (2025-2028).
In addition, IRIS will market the Italian Men’s and Women’s Leagues – Lega Pallavolo Serie A from the 2025/26 season through to 2028/29 and Lega Pallavolo Femminile Serie A for 2025/26.
Volleyball World is the commercial joint venture established in 2021 between the International Volleyball Federation (FIVB) and private equity firm CVC Capital Partners.

The sport has 800 million fans across Indoor and Beach volleyball and in 2023 Volleyball World ranked third overall among Olympic International Federations in the BCW all International Sports Federations (IF) Social Media Ranking, and fourth for the most followers across social media platforms, boasting nearly 16 million followers. That same year, the official YouTube channel saw a 48% increase, surpassing 3.2 million subscribers.
In September 2024, Volleyball World's streaming service, VBTV, reached 1.5 million members, reflecting its rapid growth as a premier destination for volleyball content. At the end of last year, it was also announced that the VNL would expand from 16 competing nations to 18 and that the number of events would grow from two pools of 8 teams a week to three pools of 6 teams a week.
