Korpisalo made 19 saves on 23 shots in a 4-3 loss to Tampa Bay on Monday.
The Lightning came out white hot to start the game and rang up a 3-0 lead by the 39-second mark of the second frame. Korpisalo then settled in and gave his team a chance to claw their way back into the game. He has started twice already this season, but don't expect a platoon split with Jeremy Swayman. Korpisalo made 24 starts last season, going 11-10-3 with a 2.90 GAA and .893 save percentage over 27 total appearances.
