Leeds continues to hold its place as the top-ranked business school in Colorado and is now No. 21 among public universities nationwide.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThis four-spot rise overall is an impressive achievement and represents the second-largest upward movement among the top 35 business schools,\u201d said Vijay Khatri, Tandean Rustandy Endowed Dean of Leeds.<\/p>\n<p>In addition to the rankings, Leeds saw a record-breaking surge in undergraduate applications\u2014more than 16,000 for the 2025\u201326 academic year. And this past spring, Leeds graduated its largest class ever, with nearly 1,700 undergraduates crossing the stage to venture into their next chapter.<\/p>\n<p>As part of its 2035 Strategic Plan, Leeds\u2019 mission, vision and values focuses on academic excellence, values-based leadership, interdisciplinary collaboration and bold innovation. Rising in the <em>U.S. News &amp; World Report<\/em> rankings is one of many indicators of the school\u2019s exceptional progress in these areas, Khatri noted.<\/p>\n<h3>How Leeds Stands Out<\/h3>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/skybeaconnews.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/10\/GoldBar-10px.png\" alt=\"gold bar\"\/><\/p>\n<h4>#1 in Colorado<\/h4>\n<p>(out of 10 ranked)<\/p>\n<h4>#32 overall<\/h4>\n<p>(tied with Boston College,<br \/>University of Arizona, University of Iowa and UC Irvine)<\/p>\n<h4><strong>#21 public<\/strong><\/h4>\n<p>(tied with University of Arizona, University of Iowa and UC Irvine)<\/p>\n<h4>Top 6%<\/h4>\n<p>of all schools ranked <br \/><strong>(n=533)<\/strong><\/p>\n<h4>#4 in Big 12 <br \/>Conference<\/h4>\n<p>(out of 16)<\/p>\n<h3><strong>A world-class faculty<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p>Since fall 2024, 44 new faculty members have joined Leeds, bringing global expertise from leading business schools\u2014a testament to the school\u2019s growing reputation for academic and research excellence.<\/p>\n<p>Chenshan Hu, a new assistant professor of operations management, cited Leeds\u2019 \u201cexceptional research\u201d and \u201cstrong commitment to sustainability\u201d as key reasons for joining the faculty.<\/p>\n<p>MJ Yang was drawn to Leeds\u2019 \u201cfantastic group of scholars in entrepreneurship and strategy,\u201d as well as the region\u2019s quantum computing ecosystem. He left a tenured position at the University of Oklahoma to join Leeds this fall as an assistant professor of entrepreneurship and strategy.<\/p>\n<p>Leeds\u2019 research impact is gaining recognition as faculty tackle some of the biggest questions and challenges facing business today. From 2020 to 2024, Leeds published an impressive 152 articles in top-tier journals, advancing significantly in the University of Texas Dallas rankings for 2025.<\/p>\n<h3><strong>Investing in career outcomes<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p>Students like first-year Roberto Araujo-Rodriquez (Bus\u201929) come to Leeds not only to gain essential business fundamentals, but also with a clear vision for how they want to make their mark. For Araujo-Rodriquez, who already owns a car detailing business, that means exploring possibilities to start a chain of luxury restaurants after graduation. <\/p>\n<p>Leeds\u2019 expansive experiential learning opportunities\u2014including internships, career treks, study abroad and professional mentoring\u2014set the school apart. A recent transformative gift further demonstrates Leeds\u2019 commitment to shaping the next generation of business leaders. The new Nicholas Dante Badami Office for Experiential Learning will amplify Leeds\u2019 experiential initiatives, strengthen career outcomes, foster leadership and entrepreneurial mindsets, and ensure professional readiness. <\/p>\n<h3>Pulling rank<\/h3>\n<p>Maintaining a top-tier ranking among both public and private undergraduate business programs is a significant accomplishment. Last year, the school\u2019s part-time MBA programs jumped eight spots to \u202fNo. 42\u202fin the\u202f<em>U.S. News &amp; World Report 2025\u202fBest Graduate Schools <\/em>rankings.
