What is the hack?,\u201d posted Sudhir on X.<\/p>\n<h2>What we found out in our testing<\/h2>\n<p>To investigate these claims, TOI Tech conducted its own tests. We booked multiple Uber rides using various devices, including budget-friendly Android phones and premium Apple iPhones. However, we did not observe any significant price variations across different devices or locations.<br \/><img decoding=\"async\" alt=\"Uber\" src=\"https:\/\/skybeaconnews.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/01\/83033472.cms_.jpg\"\/><\/p>\n<h2>What Uber has to say<\/h2>\n<p>Uber quickly responded to the allegations, stating that the observed fare differences were not due to the type of phone used. &quot;Hi there, multiple differences in these two rides impact the prices. The pick-up point, ETA, and drop-off point on these requests vary, which will cause different fares.
